The SEO META Keywords field to be removed from Webflow's UI

by @Nosher Danny Hazelgrove @ The SEO META Keywords field to be removed from Webflow's UI

@Nosher wrote:

Hi Guys,

I agree that we should all follow Google, but I also agree with Revolution on "our testing indicated (and still does) that bing and yahoo still checking meta-keywords"

We also have a client that wants to use his meta-keywords, whether we agree or not!

I just think rather than take something away from what we had, you should give the client "us" the choice to have the ability to use the meta-keywords if we want or not! otherwise this makes it hard work for use manually adding these in!

Maybe it would have been a good idea to add a warning "to prevent potential unintended mistakes that could cause search engines to reduce rankings" but still allow us to make our own choices?
